The need for master data management solutions can be triggered by a number of things, including managing supply chains, integrating data sources from merger and acquisition activities and monitoring ongoing business activities across multiple branches in many different locations. Master Data Management (MDM) technologies support mastering data to provide a “single point of truth” across enterprise applications with respect to an organization’s critical data and metadata. ASTC has built-in support for geographic data and for managing the metadata and taxonomies. Our systems are designed to support building relationships between data items as well as creating and managing classifications and associations.
A Geographic Information System (GIS) integrates hardware and software, in the capture, management and analysis of data of a spatial nature, resulting in several forms of georeferenced information. A GIS allows us to visualize, interpret, understand and question data in ways that reveal relationships, patterns and trends in the environment by using maps, globes, reports, charts and graphics. By extension, this versatility allows GIS solutions to be integrated into the framework of any company information system.
ASTC has provided various Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) solutions for several customers based on their individual business needs. Each solution has focused on the realization of different benefits, such as geospatial information sharing and urban development management. ASTC has built-in support for geographic data and for managing the metadata and taxonomies. Our systems are designed to support building relationships between data items as well as creating and managing classifications and associations.
We do Business Analysis for our clients. Recently we conducted a few case studies related to master data management applications, registries, catalogues and solutions for asset management, urban development and emergency management.
